I finally got an appointment with a dermatologist. He said exactly what I expected him to say: “there is no such thing as Morgellons; it’s essentially something that’s been perpetuated on the internet by patients trying to self diagnose their skin ailments. Gee Doc: would ya please get your microscope out and look at this lesion that won’t heal? Yeah, if you look carefully you might find some interesting specimens. See what I found at 400X? I found the cutest little worm: I’ll call it a MORGELLONS WORM. He (it) has a black marking near the head that gives the appearance of a smile. He really is cute. Take a look. Oh, and since morgellons worms do not exist as a medical malady I’ll just consider this little worm as a pet. That’s why I’ve posted this video to the pets and animals category. Also, my dog has morgellons too.

“They’re not interested in looking at specimens collected by patients.”
And they’re also not interested in “collecting” specimens by their own professional hands from patients which might sully their “professional” reputations if they had to acknowledge finding anything either.

Change dermatologist and you’ll get an idiot with a different name and face. I went to see two dermatologists and two GPs only to find myself with three prescriptions for anti-psychotic medicine. None of them took a close look at my skin.
